Terms of sale and licence

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy Flitdrop Pro. Flitdrop itself can be used for free without buying anything. In short: you pay once, Pro is yours for life on up to 5 of your computers with every update, and you can get your money back within 14 days without giving a reason.

1. Who you buy from

Flitdrop is published by Thomas Bidault, entrepreneur individuel (sole trader), trading as CC's Global, SIREN 985 284 355, VAT number FR13985284355, 26 rue des Ponts, 44470 Thouaré-sur-Loire, France, phone +33 7 59 68 24 26, [email protected] ("we"). You agree the Pro licence with us. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. We make the app, provide the licence and answer your questions.

Flitdrop Pro is sold by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom (for buyers in the United States and Canada, its local companies Paddle.com Inc. and Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd.). Paddle is the merchant of record: it is the seller, takes the payment, charges VAT or sales tax where they apply, and sends the receipt and the invoice. The sale also follows Paddle's buyer terms, shown at checkout.

2. What stays free

Without buying anything, Flitdrop sends 30 files a day (phone to computer and back combined; texts and the clipboard do not count), up to 8 GB per file by default (16 GB in the settings), at full speed and end to end encrypted, with several phones, the clipboard and texts sent by hand, the last 20 texts of the clipboard history, the iPhone shortcut, the speed test, the Windows firewall repair and every update. These free features do not depend on Pro.

On a computer where Flitdrop was used before Flitdrop Pro existed (version 0.6.7 or earlier), automatic clipboard sending and the full clipboard history also stay free.

3. What Flitdrop Pro adds

Pro works in the official Flitdrop app for Windows 10 and 11 (x64), macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux (x64); the phone side runs in a recent web browser. Unlocking Pro needs an internet connection.

We never take a Pro feature away from buyers. Only a change in an operating system, in the law or a security problem could force us to change a Pro feature in a way that reduces it; we would then tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before, and you could get a full refund within 30 days after the change. New features and improvements come at no extra cost.

4. Price and payment

Flitdrop Pro costs €5.99 once, taxes included, in the euro zone. Before you pay, Paddle shows the price in your currency, with the taxes of your country where they apply; it can be lower in some countries. Early users may get a launch price, shown at checkout. There is no subscription: nothing renews and nothing else is ever charged. Your payment details are handled by Paddle only; we never see them.

5. Your licence

This licence covers the use of Pro in the official Flitdrop app. The source code of Flitdrop stays under its own licence, described in the legal notice.

6. Unlocking Pro, and without internet

If you buy from the app, Pro unlocks by itself after payment. If you bought on the website or are on another computer: in the app, choose "I already bought it", enter the e-mail address you paid with, then the one-time code we send you.

Transfers never need the internet. Pro needs a connection when you unlock it; after that, the app confirms the licence online by itself from time to time. A computer that stays offline keeps Pro for at least two weeks after Flitdrop was last online; after that, it goes back to the free limits until it connects again, then Pro comes back by itself. Nothing on your computer is deleted.

7. Free trial

Every computer gets 14 days of Pro to try first, free, without any payment details. At the end of the trial, Flitdrop goes back to the free version by itself: nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel. Automatic clipboard sending then stops and the clipboard history shows the last 20 texts, except on a computer covered by section 2; nothing on your computer is deleted.

8. Refunds and right of withdrawal

You can withdraw within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason, even after Pro is unlocked, and get a full refund: we do not ask you to give up this right when you buy. The withdrawal function, labelled "Withdraw from contract here", is at the top of the refunds and withdrawal page (flitdrop.com/refund), linked from the Flitdrop Pro page, and stays available for the whole 14 days; that page also has the model withdrawal form. Paddle's withdrawal button at paddle.net works too, as does any clear statement sent to [email protected]. We refund you through Paddle within 14 days of your withdrawal. Pro then switches off on your computers at their next licence check, and Flitdrop keeps working with its free features.

9. Legal guarantee

You keep every right that the law gives consumers, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content. If Pro does not work as described, write to [email protected]: we fix it without undue delay, free of charge, or refund you if we cannot. For Flitdrop Pro, the period of the guarantee is the whole duration of your Flitdrop Pro licence, and at least two years from its unlocking.

The box below translates the official French model (annex to article D. 211-4 of the French Consumer Code); the French version of these terms gives its exact wording.

The consumer is entitled to have the legal guarantee of conformity applied if a lack of conformity appears during a period covering the whole duration of your Flitdrop Pro licence, and at least two years, from the supply of the digital content or digital service. During this period, the consumer only has to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity includes the obligation to supply all the updates needed to keep the digital content or digital service in conformity during the whole duration of your Flitdrop Pro licence, and at least two years from its unlocking.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the digital content or digital service brought into conformity without undue delay following the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.

The consumer can obtain a price reduction while keeping the digital content or digital service, or can end the contract and get a full refund in return for giving up the digital content or digital service, if:

1° The trader refuses to bring the digital content or digital service into conformity;

2° Bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity is unjustifiably delayed;

3° The digital content or digital service cannot be brought into conformity without costs imposed on the consumer;

4° Bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity causes major inconvenience to the consumer;

5° The lack of conformity of the digital content or digital service persists despite the trader's unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to the termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. The consumer then does not have to ask first for the digital content or digital service to be brought into conformity.

Where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer is entitled to the cancellation of the contract only if the contract does not provide for the payment of a price.

Any period during which the digital content or digital service is unavailable in order to be brought back into conformity suspends the guarantee that remained to run until the digital content or digital service is supplied in conformity again.

These rights result from the application of articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code.

A trader who in bad faith obstructs the application of the legal guarantee of conformity incurs a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be raised to 10% of the average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee gives the right to a price reduction if the digital content or digital service is kept, or to a full refund in return for giving up the digital content or digital service.

10. Liability

Flitdrop moves your files between your own devices: keep copies of what matters to you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to limit, nor your rights as a consumer.

11. Fair use and ownership

Do not use Flitdrop or Flitdrop Pro to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, spread malware, attack, probe or overload our servers, or get around the licence check. Flitdrop, its name and its logo belong to Thomas Bidault (CC's Global); the source code stays under the FSL-1.1-ALv2 licence described in the legal notice. Transfers never depend on our servers; the licence server may be unavailable now and then, and Pro keeps working meanwhile (see section 6). If a payment is reversed (chargeback) or a licence is used fraudulently, for example shared beyond 5 computers or paid with stolen means of payment, Pro may be switched off; the free version keeps working, and if the chargeback is cancelled, Pro comes back with "I already bought it".

12. Buyers under 18

If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in force on the day of your purchase apply to it; the date at the top of this page shows the current version.

14. Help, complaints, mediation and applicable law

For any question or problem, write to [email protected]. For the payment, you can also contact Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net. These terms are governed by French law; if you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and can go to its courts. The sale itself follows Paddle's buyer terms.

Mediation: if a written complaint to [email protected] has not settled the dispute, you can refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator we have joined (articles L. 612-1 and following of the French Consumer Code): CM2C, Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net.
